Each song can earn from up to four separate royalty systems, and each needs its own registration. The Song Rights Hub shows which ones each song is missing and walks you through fixing them, in order.
We never ask for your passwords. You register directly on each official site, and we keep track.
Every stream, spin and download can pay you more than once. Each stream below is collected by a different organization.
Paid to songwriters and publishers whenever the song is performed publicly.
Paid to songwriters each time the song is reproduced. Often left unclaimed by indie artists.
Paid to the recording owner and featured artist, separate from songwriter money.
Paid to performers and recording owners when the recording plays overseas.
For checking a song or two.
For finding out what you're missing.
Secure checkout by Square. After you pay, we email you within two business days to collect your song list. Done within 45 days or 100% of your money back.
For artists releasing regularly.
For when you'd rather not do it alone.
Secure checkout by Square. After you pay, we email you within two business days to schedule your session. Done within 45 days or 100% of your money back.
For managers, producers, labels and schools.
Not sure where to start? Run your first song through the free checklist. If it's missing registrations, your other songs probably are too, and the audit will find them.
How we're different from publishing administrators: Services like Songtrust and DistroKid Publishing collect some royalties for you in exchange for a commission. We take no commission. We help you register directly, and we can show you when an administrator is worth it.
The first 100 artists get Pro free for a year. In return, we ask for honest feedback and one short video about your experience.
The Song Rights Hub helps independent artists and songwriters collect every royalty their music earns. A single song can be owed money by a performing rights organization, The MLC, SoundExchange and others, and each one needs its own registration. Most artists don't know all of them exist.
We built a free checklist that shows every registration in order, with a link to each official site, so you can see what each song is missing and fix it yourself. When you'd rather have help, we offer catalog audits and guided setup sessions.
We take no commission on your royalties, and we never ask for your passwords. You register directly with each organization and keep full control of your accounts.
The Song Rights Hub is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any organization listed on this site.

Songs you track. Song details you enter in the checklist (titles, ISRCs, writers, splits and progress) are saved in your own web browser on your device. They are not sent to us.
Requests you send us. When you request an audit, join a waitlist, book a session or apply to the Founding 100, we receive what you enter in that form: your name, email, artist name, number of songs and any message.
Basic site data. Our hosting provider, Netlify, may log standard technical information such as IP address and browser type to run and secure the site.
Payments for paid services are processed by Square. Square collects your card details and your name, email and phone number to complete the purchase, and shares your contact details and order with us so we can deliver your service. We never see or store your full card number. Square's own privacy policy covers how Square handles your payment information.
We never ask for passwords to your PRO, MLC, SoundExchange, distributor, bank or any other account.
We use your request details only to reply to you and deliver the service you asked for. We send updates and tips only if you check the box agreeing to receive them, and every update includes a way to unsubscribe.
We do not sell or rent your information. We share it only with services that help us run the site, such as our hosting provider, and only as needed to operate it.
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information you've sent us by emailing thesongrightshub@gmail.com. Song data saved in your browser can be removed by deleting the songs or clearing your browser's site data.
This site is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.

Before we start. Changed your mind? Cancel anytime before we begin your audit or session for a full refund.
Waiting on you. The 45 days pause while we're waiting on something we've asked you for, such as your song list or picking a session time. We'll always tell you by email when we're waiting on you.
